Yesterday Safari went APE on me not wanting to re-open itself, just instantly crashing, and today it works, but I get this on nearly every other page.
http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d5/audiogodz1/ScreenShot2011-05-03at15206PM.png
It is driving me insane. I am also having issue with Safari running very slowly with multiple tabs open and this is on my 2010 i5 quad so it should be smoking along.
Other experiencing this webpages reloading pop up? This might be the first time I have had to abandon Safari for Firefox as all I am doing is error reporting on this machine at this point.

are there alternatives to these scripts?
i'd like to get F@H setup on a couple of rigs here at work and it's generally better to keep the terminal hidden so people don't kill it.

Okay, I'm in over my head. Look like I need to first learn about frames. Mods, you can lock or delete this thread. Sorry about that. I thought I was close to finishing. Little did I know!!

Here are a couple of reviews:

I like the case, but the price tag is a bit much for my taste personally.

It's possible that it's a firewall problem on either your end or, more likely, the hospital's wifi. I can't offer any concrete reason why but a lot of public wifi's block things for one reason or another. It could easily be the case with whatever service provider you're trying to get emails from.

Ah, I misunderstood.
Btw:
There are currently no viruses for Mac OS X in public circulation, only a handful of trojans and other malware, which have to be installed manually via entering the administrator password.
The only anti-virus you need to protect your Mac is education and common sense.

I have a copy of MS Office 2008 Special Media Edition still sealed in box. It usually retails for $499 at the Apple store (I'll offer it for much less); how much are you looking to spend?
Let's work something out; let me know.

I don't now if the iPod Touch 4G is special or if manufacturers are just slow to update their web sites but it looks like there is a dearth of compatible ext. batteries for the iPod Touch 4G. Everything I see says its for iPhone 2G/3G.
Can someone give me some suggestions for a good ext. battery -- something portable, preferably that attaches to the Touch vs. a battery block w/ a dock connector cable. It's for a gift so I need to be certain it works for the 4G.

A reformat and redo of the JB may not be a bad idea. Try it, before you go with the turbo sim.

I am seriously thinking about Swithing to MAC platform and only one program that I use on daily (many times per hour) is the only thing keeping me thinking about it.
This program is called Snagit. http://www.techsmith.com/products/snagit/
It a simple but very elegant, quick and practical utility that captures a screen or a region of the screen and enables you to make notes, circles, lines and process the image you have just captured and send it to the clipboard.
Its not just a printscreen. It actually lets you edit the image in a very quick and easy way without having to open a specific an editing software to do it. It super quick. Does anybody know Snagit in PC platform and can recommend a similar one on MAC.
If you have a PC and dont now Snagit download the evaluation and give it a try. youll never regret it.
Thanks,
Marcos

I used iStudiez Pro but I am tired of it.
I am looking for something new, as well.
Does Things sync over the cloud? Like will it sync using my 3G? or My MBP and iPhone have to be on the same wifi network?

My response may not be too relevant, but I have a harmony remote that when I switched activities puts my mini to sleep. Btw the harmony remote is great and works with the mini well.
A more technical way is that I believe plex has an API functionality that allows you to run a script. You could then run a script when the pled closes that puts your mini to sleep.

Louisianas biggest corporate players, many with long agendas before the state government, are restricted in making campaign contributions to Gov. Bobby Jindal. But they can give whatever they like to the foundation set up by his wife months after he took office.
AT&T, which needed Mr. Jindal, a Republican, to sign off on legislation allowing the company to sell cable television services without having to negotiate with individual parishes, has pledged at least $250,000 to the Supriya Jindal Foundation for Louisianas Children.
...
Alon USA, an Israeli oil company that has pledged $250,000 to the Jindal Foundation, last year sought permit changes that would allow it to discharge more pollutants at its Krotz Springs refinery. In state environmental officials also eased requirements for the company to check for spills of oil, ammonia or other contaminants in waterways to twice a month, instead of twice a week, records show

This is kind of gross. You don't want to criticize these corporate donations to charity, but it's a big game of misdirection as their charitable donations wind up being an actively manipulative red herring, drawing positive attention while at once gaming the system for corporate economic gain. Twisted. Where does the individual lie here? Fishing at the banks of the polluted waterway while the politician and the corporate chiefs enjoy a lovely charity fundraiser gala.
