I know right? I know they're only foam, but still, they still look quite metallic.

If you delete them from Events, then they are gone for ever. It sounds like you need an external drive.

Just what I was thinking as I read your post. Download a trial and see if it works as you need it to.

I could suggest a firewire 800 HD though to free up those USB ports (or get a USB hub).
Seems the OP has one of those Macs were FW was left out.
Only having 2 USB sockets and no firewire what do you suggest?

Hi there, thanks for the reply! This is definitely along the lines of what I was looking for, but it does look pretty advanced. I looked online but I couldn't find a good tutorial, it would be helpful if someone could help me come up with a quick command to batch create mp3 samples out of a directory of mp3s. That would be gold!:D
There is a "sox-users" mailing list. It would be good to subscribe to that. Then try a few things and describe your attempts on that list. But don't ask "how to" until you can tell them what you've already read and what you've tried otherwise you will only get replies pointing you to the user level documentation.
sox is a very simple command line program. You give it a command and a file and it writes the result to standard output where typically you'd pipe it to a file. To batch process and entire directory you'd place a sox command or several commands inside a foreach loop in a shell script. In your case you process a track first with a trim then the fade-in and then pie to a file. Get that to work them put a foreach loop around it

I have the Apple case and a couple of ebay cases. Two other docks, one I keep at work. I have the connection set but have yet to use it. On the right is my Dell Monitor for my MacPro.

If you want everything gone you have to restore and setup as new.
If you restore from your JB backup on file some stuff might carry over.

You probably downloaded the Windows drivers that will have to be installed after you install windows.
Sounds like your optical disk is defective.

I recently got the Revolve xeMini Plus charging kit for my iPhone. Now, I can recharge in the car, from the wall, with solar, from the computer, or even from the internal backup battery. It's been a life saver more than once! Highly recommended!

I haven't, but I did consider it after graduation last year.
While I worked for Apple retail in college I actually got to meet a young lady going through this program and I spoke with her about her experience. From what she said, it seems like a truly unique and worthy experience if you are interested in joining Apple in a retail aspect long-term. This could be in a retail store or with Apple's corporate retail division (or so she said).
It does sound like a great experience from what I've heard. I understand that it's a fairly new scheme.
Looking back, I wish I had applied. A word of caution though, she told me that the acceptance rate is very low at around 2% of applicants. Just a heads up.
Best of luck if you consider and apply for the program!
I've actually applied already :D

No, I don't think that would work. IIRC the Rev. D iMac needs low-density SO-DIMMs which are expensive. I remember paying a pretty penny to max out my Rev. D last summer.

So are they going to resod the field every year now?
I don't know, but if the field gets as bad as it did this past winter, I bet they will have to.

Does it work with the mini Ipod? Would like to know how useful it would be for the Mini Ipod Owners.
