This is a noble idea, but most of those labels have already been printed and affixed to filled soda bottles and are just sitting around waiting to be shipped to grocery stores on and around February 1st.
Good idea though.

There are alot of keyboard shortcuts for Greek letter that are helpful in graphing
For example pi is (Alt/Option)+(P)
square root is (alt/option)+(V)

Yep, I'm familiar with how the search system works. The problem is that it is still limited in the suggestions it gives you. Someone sent me a copy of the master list's url and I was able to find the member.
The problem in this case was the member I was looking for has a / in their username and I didn't know that. Despite putting the first part of their user name in the search engine the provided results never included him/her. That's what I meant by the search capabilities appear limited.
Thanks for your help though GGJ, I do appreciate it.

You can bet that companies like OWC will find a way to use this space for an SSD. Even easier would be to hook up an external SSD via Thunderbolt when it becomes available.
That's a good point about 3rd parties making things available. True about the external, but the option for internal would be nice.

A. No
B. Not really. Your app could register a custom URL handler that would allow it to be launched from a web page with parameters being passed but that would require the page to be changed to do that. So it's not possible in general, generic terms.
Thank you Robbie!
for my second question, my requirement goes something like this ::
Say a person opens apple site in his mobile safari - www.apple.com
Now he clicks Ipad link - the URL in address bar changes to www.apple.com/ipad

I know there is an old thread about the private folder and a few other threads on the internet but I am still confused on why it is happening. People say is virtual memory being backed up or whatever but i don't how to stop the virtual memory from eating up all my HD space. I have a MBP 2.16 GHz core 2 duo with 2 gigs of ram with 120 gig HD. I have 56 gigs of free space when i boot up, but after 3 days of not downloading anything and only really using Safari and using iTunes, i now have 46 gigs. My computer countinues to run very slow as my HD space is taken up. Before, I wouldn't restart my computer for weeks and it would be fine but lately, it seems i need to restart every 2 days. Can anyone give guidance to my situation? Thanks.

The WGS 95 is somewhat collectable - the Mac II a little less so. I personally like the Mac II because it's one of only two '020 machines (the LC being the other), but most other people don't seem to care. Anything in a Quadra 900 form factor tends to generate interest - especially the WGS line since there aren't as many of them.
The X factor will be shipping - neither of those machines will be inexpensive to ship. I'd recommend heading over to the 68kmla (http://68kmla.org/forums/) site and see if anyone is interested.

Does CS3 have bridge? I can't quite remember.
Yes, it does, although it was a resource hog. Although I use it at home for freelance work, I've found that in some studios in the UK, it's not widely used, with some preferring to drop a lot of PDFs or images onto Preview, of all things instead, because it's so fast.
Working with Bridge in the 'approved' manner in an entirely CS-based workflow takes some getting your head around it when you've been used to working with a workflow that's been based on QuarkXpress practices.
Anyway, not sure what's wrong with funter's eps; I hope we find out at some point.

I played the game from Beta (back when I was still a Linux user, yay for crossplatform games!) for about a year after launch. Was great until my crew started falling apart and then I realised how much the actual game was beginning to bore me.
I have many fond memories of the many months I wasted on that game!

Ha! i remeber oregon trail! we had that school.
when people in your party died, kids would always have the gravestones read something like "Billy SUcks", so when another kid passed by that grave in game, they would see it
also, i had one instructor who had wolfenstein on his computer and let me play it when i finished my work in class

If you're coming from another programming language like C++ you can kind of think of the (+) functions as static member functions. And they are often used as a pseudo factory methods. For example a car class
+ (id)carWithEngine:(Engine *)engine;
vs
- (id)initWithEngine:(Engine *)engine;
+ (id)carWithEngine:(Engine *)engine;
vs
- (id)initWithEngine:(Engine *)engine;

I would personally always go the refurbished route on basic iPods. Always. There's no reason not to. Personally, nothing but my iPhone 4 was new from Apple, and I've never had a major issue with any Apple product. My original iPhone 2G got replaced with a refurbished model, and the wifi died in it. (It still works on some rare days it chooses.) There is a very fragile and thin wire right under where you'd open the iPhone, so I understand how the issue may have happened.
Apple refurbished things are often just as good as, if not better than new. Instead of a product that came off an assembly line with thousands of others, and slapped on a store shelf, Apple refurbished product have been sent back, personally looked at and gone through, and given any attention they may need. I can't recommend refurbished enough. :)

Mac OS X: Why your Mac might not sleep or stay in sleep mode (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1776)
Been there, done that. :)
- Bluetooth switched off
- Nothing shared over the network
- No external keyboard and mouse present
- No USB/peripherals connected
- Spotlight isn't indexing
- Safe mode already tried
- I hear just the fans
- Energy saver preferences are normally set to default, but I have them both at 1 minute delay for now.
Thanks!

Ok.. I updated to Lion DP2 and my mdworker is going crazy like whenever I open Reeder for Mac it just goes crazy (see attached)
Does anyone know why this is happening. I have searched and I know mdworker is related to spotlight and its indexing but it never did this on DP1???
Is this a fresh install? There are reports of spotlight reporting 11 days or some crazy timeframe to index the volume. The mdworker process throttles back down to normal once Reeder is closed?
